Most Helpful Positive Review Perfect tool for CZ Kadet conversion magazines.
I purchased this product for CZ Kadet conversion magazines. These magazines have the dimensions of the original 9mm units that come with the CZ 75 B host pistol but are designed to accommodate .22lr cartridges. Without this tool it is very difficult to load the magazines because the feed lips are considerably sharp especially after loading a significant number of rounds. I have 3 other speed loaders from this manufacturer including a Baby Uplula for standard .22lr pistol magazines, a universal model for 9mm thru .45acp and one for ar-15 .223 / 556 magazines. I am very pleased with all of them...

Doesn't work

After great experience with the Maglula speed loader for other calibers I bought this one for loading 22 lr magazines. I found that it doesn't work on Taurus 22 lr magazines nor Ruger Mark IV 22 lr magazines even with the single stack adapter. Completely useless and very disappointed. A total waste of money of this loader and the adapter.

  • does not work for any 22 magazine
  • expensive and useless
Best Used for:
  • Filling a trash can
  • as a door stop

Beware of compatibility with various 22 magazines

I've been using other Maglulu speed loaders. Was after one for loading Ruger Mark IV magazines. However, this one with the 1911 single stack adapter is a grave disappointment as it does NOT work for loading the Ruger Mark IV 22 single stack magazine. Totally useless purchase. Beware of its compatibility with various 22 magazines.

Maglula are the best speed loaders

While one doesn't absolutely need a speed loader having one makes it much easier and quicker to load a magazine especially when you want to fill it to the max.

Does not work

Have double stack Glock g44 factory and aftermarket double-stack .22LR magazines. Does not work on any of them. Definitely same design as the 9mm uplula, just smaller, but sadly doesn't work.

22Uplula .22 Double Stack

I have found that ALL the Uplula loaders I have tried have performed flawlessly.

My latest is the .22 double stack version and it is a real finger saver with the new 15 to 20 round magazines. It also helps speed the magazine loading up.

The instructiona say to place the first round in the mag by hand in order to save the plastic mag bullet carrier. I do that for all the different caliber Uplula loaders.

.22 magazine loader

This magazine loader has saved my hands from being torn up while loading double stack .22 mags for a SIG P229 conversion kit. It loads as fast and efficient as it’s center fire counter part. I would not be without it on the range.

Just like Big Brother

I have 22 conversion kits for my SIGs and was looking for a similar loader that I use for the 9, & 40. Helps speed up the loading and keeps the thumb from being cut with the sharp ridges of the thumb stud during a long range session.
