Does what I needed as a lefty: I can drill with mag swap and drop the bolt without changing hands, also without mixing up the release button for mags. I made a Regular mil spec lower ambi and was missing bolt action, this did the job. The best way to separate the two for quicker action for a lefty.
Cons:
- add couple mil of body so tight with chamber cover

With practice this device is super great. It allows as it says easy release of the bolt without taking your hand out of a firing grip.

This is a very well engineered asset for the operation of the bolt release on your ar15. Optics planet shipped fast.

I am very particularly about what builds I choose to run a BAD lever on. People say it shouldn't be in the trigger guard. Sure that's a valid point but thankfully it extends out where you don't need to stick your finger in the trigger guard. As a right hand shooter it's a lot more convenient and natural for me to actuate the BAD lever when locking the bolt back and sending it home rather than changing my grip to pull the charging handle back and hold the bolt catch simultaneously. Not to say I am incapable of doing it but I'd much rather use the BAD lever if possible. I'm sure I'll get some push back on that but I like it and it serves it's purpose.

Bought one of these to help out a friend who is a lefty with their build. Ended up liking it so much I bought one for myself. No modification needed both times purchased, for either rifle.

Do I need this at the range, no! But it’s like having your CC License, when you need that little edge that makes all the difference in protecting your family it’s there for you. You have learned it and trained with it so it’s second nature and muscle memory will kick in if that time comes.
Easy install and not complicated to practice using! On my Springfield Armory Saint Victor it sits in reach but not in the way. Perfect addition to upping my efficiency.
Well done Magpul!

It's easy to mount and make your ar ambidextrous. Make fast release with out to move your right hand grip, just with your index finger.
Pros:
- Make faster release the bolt.
Cons:
- I can't use the ambidextrous mag release.

Love the B.A.D lever! So much easier to close the bolt without significant movement of your firing hand. Have on several AR15s and a simple, couple of minutes install. I highly recommend if you like the concept.
