I was looking for a pair of all leather, American (even better Texan) made gloves. where I live it is cheaper and sometimes easier to burn large amounts of trash such as leaves, branches, junk mail, old personal papers, etc. artificial leather or leather palm and synthetic back gloves have always been expendable items. But, they go quickly as I also used to work in the oilfield. These gloves fit great though I have always had the problem of small, muscular fingers and a meaty palm. My palm would probably do better with a L or XL but instead of having a lot of flop at the end of my fingers I always wear medium.
So, as usual they were tight and hard to get on the first time but stretch and wear nicely after some hours loading and unloading stuff for the burn pile into my pick up. The leather is very supple and not stiff at all, the stitching is nice and uniform so there are no hot spots from poor placement of seams or large gathering of material at the seams. The pre-cut whole in the sleeve is nice for hanging them off a D-ring or similar when not in use. The conductive stitching in the finger tips works for touchscreens but I don’t know how often I will use this feature considering the gloves will be dirty and have debris all over them. But, if you want to answer a call quickly and not have to take these off you’re set.
They are on the thin side as far as leather gloves go. This may only be a problem for long term use but is also the trade off for having a leather work glove...
