Honestly, I’m not sure why I waited so long to get one of these. They’ve been available for years. This one has all the features that a bipod 3x as much costs. I’m pleased with it.

Good on a budget

Works as advertised and is a nice lightweight option. don't love how it is difficult to fully lock into side-to-side cant, seems to loosen up easily. I like how the MDT oryx quick deploys better, but any bipod is better that no bipod.

Excellent Bipod

I don't buy anything without research. I read, reviewed reviews, ane looked at many a bipod. This Magpul bipod had the best features, is well made, and light. Best of all, all the operation is hidden inside the bipod. No springs or levers to get caught by branchers, fouled with dirt, or suffer other problems. Top that off with its ability to cant and tilt and I'm in. I would definitely recommend. I should mentioned that Optic Planet had the best price.
