Good Stock. Super Easy Installation.
Design and Quality is in line with what you expect from Magpul. Installation takes 10 min and requires few simple hand tools / drivers / bits - stuff that most will have in their home tool box anyway.

My only gripe is that Magpul does NOT offer SPARE front end / handguard pieces by themselves. So if you happen to have a Take-Down rifle with an EXTRA barrel, than you are out of luck -- if you want your additional barrel(s) readily available for swap, you will have to BUY ENTIRE stock kit.
Great add on to my 10/22
The stock "stock" left much to be desired. The Magpul Hunter stock is leaps and bounds more robust and feature rich compared to the factory Ruger stock. Rifle is so much better now. Highly recommend!!!

Very Comfortable Stock
This is a very comfortable stock it works great for me. It is also is a much better quality stock than the factory stock in my opinion. This is a must have upgrade.

excellent multi use stock
Impressed by the features in this stock. Mlock slots, adj cheek pcs (opt), adj length of pull, sling qd spot, 4 colors, footman's loop.
I had the backpacker stock, started shooting steel challenge and realized it was insufficient for that, so purchased the X22 hunter and wow, this is the stock I should have bought to begin with. No complaints at all.

This stock packs all the features you want and need; great design and good thoughts are put into the product.
If you plan on putting QD Slings and other stuff like Picatinny rails, please plan your purchase accordingly to prevent waiting.

Great upgrade
Compared to the stock ruger comes with this is way more robust it feels better in your hand it gripes better its way more ergonomic as well .lightweight it has many adjustable features like the length of pull butt pads and option to have higher cheek risers.as of right now optics planet has the best price for these better than brownels , midway usa and primary arms , I would definitely pull the trigger if you have this in your cart , I have one con im pretty sure that it's my fault (operator error)but it won't fully align or I can't get it to align. I'll show a picture if something like that would bother you to much then don't get it but.it's small and I don't mind. Also if your going to throw a scope on there you will need a cheek riser depending on you facial features.if your going to shoot the irons you should be fine.

Great alternative
It’s a great replacement if your deciding to instal extra accessories to the front fore grip bc the original ruger fore grip doesn’t have slots like this magpul that uses m.o.e attachments and can also use rail attachments by magpul sold separately , the butt stock fits properly in all size hands ,, definitely a plus and recommend..

Nice 10/22 takedown stock
Not the color I ordered. With the seemingly overwhelmed but good intentioned OpticsPlanet customer service, I decided a return would be too much trouble and decided to keep it. Would have given 5 stars if what I ordered is was what I received.

Mr Ruger 10/22
Very nice stock for the 10/22 take down, quality build and material,fits great no modification needed, and best pricing I could find anywhere. Nice feel and shouldering, has ample points to add sights, scopes and other goodies you might like. looks way better then original stock.

Perfect TD stock
Never liked the original 10/22 TD stock. Upgraded the barrel and needed a new stock - finally had an excuse. The fit and finish of this stock is awesome. Mounts easily to receiver and barrel and, aligns when put together. The ergonomics are dramatically improved over stock. Has a nice solid feel, works and looks great.
