Frank's Review of Magpul Industries MBUS Pro Offset Deployable Iron Sight
Instead of having a stout bolt in the clamping mechanism that goes across from side to side (something that exists on your typical scope ring), the indexing lug is tapped and a tiny screw is used to secure the clamp. As soon as you tighten it down, it snaps.
Because I broke these while mounting them, I am not returning them to Optics Planet. I am sure Magpul would honor their warrenty by sending me a new screw. No thanks. These are going in the trash.
So much for beta testing new Magpul products and listening to sootch00 reviews. Dummy me. Live and learn I guess.
