Most Helpful Positive Review magpul is always good but...
Do not purchase this for a savage 110 300wm, it will not fit. After contacting Magpul they confirmed the difference in lengths even though they are supposed to be AICS. Apparently there is no standard for AICS
Most Helpful Negative Review AICS is not a one size fits all, WILL NOT WORK on Savage 110BA or Stealth
It would have been nice to know the dimensions of the magazine. After extensive research for the Savage 110BA Stealth, it uses an AICS from Drake Associates but the magazine length is 3.850" as compared to the "traditional" AICS which is 3.715". For the Savage 110BA Stealth it will require the Facto...

Doesn’t feed

by Triton20, Verified Owner from WA, United States Written on November 23, 2025
They cycled flawlessly without firing the gun, by I took one shot and the mag jammed, the remaining rounds were wedged and the tips pointed towards the bottom of the magazine. Luckily my deer dropped on the first shot, because the second round wasn’t loading.
Pros:
  • Lightweght
Cons:
  • Feeder spring is weak
Best Used for:
  • trash

Perfect fit and function for my Bergara .300 Win Mag B14 at a price that is three time lower than Bergara’s magazines.
Pros:
  • Much more cost effective than magazines from Bergara
Cons:
  • price

Abuse them

by Calvin, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on June 8, 2025
I've dropped so many of these things out the sxs moving at a clip and every time I know I can just circle back dust em off and keep rolling. Great mags. Use em in every 700 action I have

Functions well

by Mark S, Verified Owner from MA, United States Written on April 9, 2025
Bought a pair of these to go with a new Waypoint 2020 in 270 Winchester. SA only supplies one with the rifle even though your spending 2k on the rifle and you need more than one. It fits well and feeds and functions properly. A little noisey when moving around in the mag well, but it is plastic after all. A metal mag to fit is aproximately twice the cost and I only needed another just to have a follow up shot or two. But with this rifle, if it takes more than one bullet, you did something wrong.
Pros:
  • Fit
  • fitment
Cons:
  • None

Most economical option available

by wgacowboy, Verified Owner from GA, United States Written on January 29, 2025
I have a .30-06 Bergara Ridge that I switched into an HMR stock and matching bottom metal. Reading lots of reviews was pretty confused on which direction to go in. My factory 180gr Norma Bondstrike fit perfectly, with an extra 1/4” of length available for longer seating/longer projectiles in custom loads. Follower seems to track well. There is a little movement in in all directions in magwell, but seems locked in and feeds well. These are ~$40 when steel mags can be close to a C note a piece. Buy with confidence that these should work, but others may sit prettier in your magwell at a cost.
Pros:
  • economical
Cons:
  • some slop in mag well
Best Used for:
  • long range
  • modern

Magpul redesigned the lips, does not work.

by Mike, Verified Owner from WI, United States Written on January 21, 2025
My Ultradine b5 chassis works with older Magpul pmag aics long action mags. For some reason Magpul redesigned the height and size of the feed lips. They no longer look as pictured. I was able to sand/shave them to work, but I do not like having to modify something permanently to work.

30-06 long action magazine

by bill, Verified Owner from NJ, United States Written on December 26, 2024
I purchased this item because its works well in my rifle. And also I can load 6 rounds by cutting the bottom plastic piece about 3/8 off. They don’t make a 10 round clip for a 3.71 magazine. Works just as good as the metal magazines. Thank you Bill

Good product

by Huffman, Verified Owner from WV, United States Written on February 29, 2024
I love pmags, but thos does not work for 300 PRC cartridges, but I'm not going to rate it down for me not looking at dimensions before hand. If you own a 300 Win mag or one of it's offspring in a rifle that is aics mag compatible, this mag should work fine.
Pros:
  • Solid build and fit
Cons:
  • Wish they made one for 300 PRC
