Most Helpful Positive Review Perfect Butt Pad

I got this Butt Pad for my MAGPUL MOE Fixed Carbine Stock for my AR. If you buy the MOE fixed stock like i did, you will notice the stock is a little short and you will need this Butt pad to make up for the Lenght. It's a must have!

Good way to add a little LOP to my POF Revolution

I have a 308 SBR with the MOE Fixed Carbine stock (made a minor tweak to my lower to let that stock work on that gun). This butt pad is a necessary means to add a little length and cushion to address the LOP issues with that setup (if you have a revolution you'll understand the minor problem here)

comfortable and adds to LOP

Works great for a little added comfort and length of pull. Wish it was slightly thicker due to being from a state requiring fixed stocks on rifles. With that being said- it’s at no fault of the product itself. It does 100% what it’s intended to do.

I might tape this one together with the original pad to combine the two thicknesses but we’ll see how well that holds together when tested.

Very good Butt pad for Magpul fixed stock. Fits like a glove to MAG404 stock. Does a good job of softening recoil impulse on larger calibers. 450 Bushmaster etc. Must have for long arms. Good stuff.________________________________________

Magpul buttpad

Thanks to optics planet I recied this item in record time and I am very pleased with that. The pad adds a 1/2" and it a much needed add on. Placed it on my 6.5 creedmoor with MOE stock fits perfectly which makes me happy. Thanks Optics Planet and Magpul you made my day.

STELLAR PAD!

I looked at the local gun shops for a thicker, softer recoil pad for my Saint Victor AR-15 but nobody had what I needed in stock. One of the shops told me to go online to Optics Planet. This pad is a perfect fit, just what I wanted and delivered on time.

Magpul recoil pad

Same Magpul quality as the buttstock. I had replaced the factory pad with another, softer composition aftermarket pad, which deteriorated after a year. After contacting the other company about my issue I never received a reply. I won’t name the other company, just be aware softer and way more expensive isn’t always better.

Great for adding to LoP

This extended rubber butt pad adds a modest amount of length of pull (LoP) to the MOE fixed stock recently installed on my Armalite AR15 (DEF15). The LoP is still on the short side but in combination with a more vertical grip (MOE K2, also recently installed), provides for a closer-in hold on my home defense rifle. Also adds a bit of cushioning against recoil. Note that while the product name implies it is custom made for the PRS stock, it is also a custom fit for the MOE fixed stock. Looks and feels great.

Saving my shoulder from the shotgun recoil

I recently purchased a MOE Fixed Stock to work with the IFC .410 gauge shotgun upper on my latest AR build. I wanted to soften the recoil a bit so I also ordered the extended rubber butt-pad. It was delivered on time and just as ordered. It was easily installed and works great. I highly recommend it.

Works great, Could use an improvement.

The PRS butt-pad extension is easy to install with existing screws and feels like a softer rubber than the original PRS and SL pads. It doesn't have the thin plastic mounting support like the SL butt-pads though; because of this it can be pulled away from the stock a little. It hasn't been an issue for me, but I think the design could be improved with the thin plastic mounting support, so I docked it one star for that. Otherwise it's a 5 star product that feels better than the original pad.
