An ok product
Product does what it is suppose to do, unfortunately if you're one of us people that try to keep your guns clean and lubed, this part makes more of the job, getting the screw started on one side and holding the nut in on the other is a challenge that has to be met each time you remove the barrel from the shotgun, I'm glad they made the nut removable incase it needs to be replaced but mounting the product can be a challenge, after I insert the nut on the one side, I stuff paper in the QD hole to hold the nut in place while screwing in the bolt from the other side.
Fits like a Glove
Awesome product, fits my Mossberg 500 with ease. No problem installing and no problem with scratching your shotgun. I recommend this product for those that need/want a sling mount on your shotgun barrel. I would recommend though using a push button sling vs the sling attachment that already comes with the item, but that is more or less a personal preference. Other than that, the product is definitely worth it.

Well made sling attachment
This Magpul Industries SGA Forward Sling Mount seems well made, like pretty much everything else Magpul brand. It securely clamps down snug, and I dont feel it will loosen. Time will tell. I like the idea of this mount, as it keeps your sling away from the muzzle, preventing damage from muzzle blast. The one thing I can figure out yet, is what sling style works best for the platform. People will just have to play around with that, until they get a configuration that works.

Magpul Industries SGA Forward Sling Mount
The Magpul Industries SGA Forward Sling Mount is a really nice addition to a Remington 870. It can be configured with for a loop attachment or a QD sling attachment. It's very well made and easy to install.

Magpul quality!
This is the best forward sling mount I've found. It gives the user options with a QD socket on each side or the loop that can be installed on either side. Definitely a big fan of the quality of the product as usual.

Awesome Magpul product
What can I say, I'm a big fan of magpul products and this sling mount doesn't disappoint. I bought it for my Mossberg 500 and it does the trick. I didn't want anything huge and in the way, so this small screw-on part is perfect.

Nice product hold sling well
I bought this mount for my Remington 870 Tactical and it is easy to install for less than 5 minutes. We had 5 days tactical training for pistol and shotgun and it works really well.It works as it should be.

Works Great
Easy install, works great. It ends up being a little more forward than I would have liked due to clearing the front grip on my 870. But I don't think I want anything more on the left front of my front grip.

Excellent Magpul Product
Finally someone made a viable shotgun forearm sling option that works. Easy to install and is very strong to support the both the barrel and magazine tub. Blends in with the finish of the Remington 870 tactical. It even looks good on the Remington 870 Marine.

Magpul Remington 870 SGA Foreward Slingmount
Another great product,aftermarket upgrade. Very affordable price at Optics planet. Product installs between the Barrel and Magazine Tube. No Allen wrench is included here 9-32nds , will not work on a stock 4 shot magazine, you must have a magazine extension. Kit does include small anti scratch pads that you must trim and fit to size that prevent from damaging the Barrel and Magazine Tube,this part is kind of tricky so take your time here. Other than that installation is pretty fast. Besure Not to Over Tighten that will damage Firearm.

Solid quality
This sling mount gives you the option of attaching your sling with a QD or clip. It installed easily and relatively quickly. The clip attachment can be mounted in multiple positions to suit individual operator preference. The only issue I experienced during the install was with getting the supplied silicone pads used for preventing scratches to the barrel and magazine tube to stick to the insides of the mount.
