Broke within seconds - Magpul Industries Forward Sling Mount - Mossberg 590A1

Magpul usually has the best of constructions and I guess their quality ends with AR15 parts since this sling mount broke within seconds of installation. I put it on my mossberg and started to tighten it. Once the screw stopped spinning, I did what always do, nudge it a little bit. And boom! It broke in two pieces. Either it was defective or it is very sensitive that dropping it or even firing could break it. The two pieces was held with only 4 spokes like weld. Why they did not make it a solid construction is weird.
