I love all magpul products. I bought this to mount a magpul ms1 sling to my Mossberg m590A1 and it mounts to the barrel and magazine tube tightly without any movement. Great addition and works great. Highly recommended!!!!

I have a 590a1 with an 18.5" barrel. There is not enough room to mount this in the intended location. Well, it will mount, but then you can't rack the fore-end fully forward. Oops! Major fail. Perhaps it would work fine with the 20" barrel. Too bad, it seems like a quality product. But very di...

Finally got the right part!

If you have a Mossberg 590S this is the front mount you want! The one that Magpul says will work does not due to the thicker barrel.

Broke within seconds

Magpul usually has the best of constructions and I guess their quality ends with AR15 parts since this sling mount broke within seconds of installation. I put it on my mossberg and started to tighten it. Once the screw stopped spinning, I did what always do, nudge it a little bit. And boom! It broke in two pieces. Either it was defective or it is very sensitive that dropping it or even firing could break it. The two pieces was held with only 4 spokes like weld. Why they did not make it a solid construction is weird.

Magpul Sling Mount

I've been looking for a secure sling mount for my shotgun, I have had others only to see them fail, But I have to say this Magpul Forward Sling Mount is top quality. It is easy to install and securely keeps the shotgun shouldered with no worries.
