Awesome stock
as always Magpul has made another great stock. It's very comfortable with the fat cheek weld. I also love the weather proof compartments for extra batteries or whatever else you prefer. It's not as easy to install as the ctr stock because the nubs that you have to grab to pull down is slightly block by the extended cheek weld. Other that that all in all a great stock.
I’m all Magpul.
Magpul is the only butt stock furniture I have/use. Tried experimenting with other brands….wasted money in my opinion. Magpul furniture is well made but more importantly…the STR butt stock aligns my eye to sight instantly whether I use holographic sights or scope or iron.

Great Stock
Once you get this installed you know you won't ever need another stock. This thing is comfortable, has storage for extra batteries, and has the lock to make sure it stays where you like it. It may be slightly pricy but it's well worth it!

Magpul but stock
Seams to be good quality, can’t wait to finish the build. got the com-spec on accident, so I had to reorder a new tension tube! They are a bit larger then mil-spec! But now I have both Incase I change it out!

Great product!
I love the friction lock, it really tightens up the stock. The wide cheek weld took me a minute to get used to, but its a deffinate plus. I used a flat screw driver to depress the spring, to slide it onto the buffer tube.

I've had an old commercial lower sitting in the safe gathering dust. I decided to put it back together for my son to use. The price, shipping were a home run. I really like they way the STR gives that wider anchor point.

WOW! what an improvement!
Bought this to replace a older butt stock on a car15. Fit perfectly feels good on my shoulder and looks beautiful. Well made quality item. Cannot say enough good things about magpul. Everything I've bought from optics planet has been priced right delivered on time if not sooner.

Great stock
This product is exactly what I was looking for to replace the factory stock on my AR . The cheek rest feels great, so much better than the economy stock that came on the gun. There is absolutely no play in the stock when locked down.

Another great Magpul product
I bought this for my Bushmaster and installation was a snap. The storage chambers make for convenient storage of batteries for my Streamlight. I took an acrylic tube which came with a set of honing sticks for my knives and cut it to fit inside of the rubber plug to store very small parts. NOTE: The rubber plug has a removable "cap" on the inside that I removed so the acrylic tube can be inserted and easily removed with the plug. Be sure you don't cut the tube too long or else the rubber plug won't seat properly.

Magpul STR
One of the best replacement stocks offered from magpul.
Storage compartments great for back up batteries,etc.
Mil-spec tubes are flat on the end
Commercial tubes are slanted on the end.
Optics Planet is a great company to order/deal with, customer service is awesome
and prices are spot on.
