Easy to install and adjust. Locking feature keeps it solidly locked to the buffer tube. The wide cheek riser holds you head comfortably in the perfect position.

Magpul STR Mil-Spec

Replaced the other magpul stock that was on my AR-15. I Replaced it with the Magpul STR Mil-Spec and the fit and lock up is absolutely incredible, its exactly what i needed and exactly how a butt stock should lock up nice and tight to the buffer tube. I highly recommend this stock and the storage compartments it has on each side. 5 stars for sure.

The correct stock

I purchased this in May 2024 and have this on one rifle. I didn’t care for the price, but after using it for a full year, it’s worth spending the few extra dollars. My favorite parts: the amount of space for your cheek is perfect, and the space to store batteries is a great benefit. I’ll order another one soon to put on the next rifle.

My new go to

I have been using the CTR stock for a while on all my builds, and the SRT stock it that but better in almost every way. It is a little bulky and weighs more but the pros definitely outway the few cons in my opinion.

Fits better than the factory stock that came in the kit. Haven't used it yet. Only con is it is heavier than the original.

Great Stock

Nice and sturdy stock, the extra surface is very comfortable for cheek rest. Only complaint is it still has slight wobble after lockup, had to use a layer of electrical tape to eliminate it.

This stock nearly hits the mark!

Pros: cool design, quality materials, lightweight, fits buffer tube snuggly

Cons: removing the stock from the buffer tube is not as easy as many other stocks I've owned, and the QD mount does not have locking grooves cut into it so my sling spins freely when handling and gets twisted up and tangled.

Maybe I got a bad one.

This was a loose fit on my MilSpec buffer tube. Even using the lockup feature it was still loose and rattled. I returned this and a Magpul SL for the same reason.
