its absurd that after buying a $100 stock i have to buy proprietary inserts to mount a sling to it. want to use a sling? thats $30 more. for about $2 in parts that should have been included from the get go. this wasnt done by them to save $2 in product cost, it was done to get you to spend $30 after the fact.
furthermore, the forearm is REALLY short. about 3" shorter than the stock section. makes it really awkward to hold, and of course eliminates any chance of them putting in mlok attachment points for putting on a tripod, flashlight, etc etc. but that i knew going into it and is unavoidable without making the stock longer. the 2 star dock comes 100% from the cheaping out on the qd mounts.
