These are very robust back-up sights that are made from some tough polymer. I would not be surprised if the same material was used on their magazines. They lie pretty flat when not in use and deploy with either the side levers or the push "button". These sights are easy to see when you need them and they won't break the bank.

I wonder who is going to read this? I began to get back into the black rifle thing after moving to California back in 2008. 12 years later it is C19 time and I was working and getting paid extra for being there during the 'Rona.
