I’ve been using the Magpul MBUS Gen 2 front sight, and it’s been super reliable. It flips up quickly and locks into place with no fuss, which is great during fast-paced use. I bought this set after watching several online videos. The Magpul MBUS Gen 2’s are a great entry-level option for backup iron sights. Tough as nails, lightweight, and easy to use, they offer reliable performance at an affordable price—perfect for novice AR15 owners or those building on the cheap-without sacrificing quality. Their spring-loaded mechanism and polymer construction make them a solid choice for a basic yet effective sighting system. Very light weight and durable.

This is definitely one of the flip up sights

If you are looking for a flip up iron sight, look no further because this one does exactly that.
In summary this:
- Folds down
- Flips up with either a simple press, firm squeeze, or furious karate chop
- Has a piece of (presumably) iron that points up at your target once the sight is fully erected

Beware, when folded the sight points back at you but this is only visible from above.

Rating 7 out of 7 karate chops.

Really Worth It

Just received these front and rear sights last week and already put them to the test at the range yesterday. These sights look and feel sturdy. Putting them on my rail was a smooth and simple process. Adjusting the level, the front sight was easy with the small tool that's given. Had no problem at the range, and it kept on point after shooting 60 rounds. Great addition to my AR15 and definitely will recommend to friends and family.

Lemon maybe?

Good relatively budget sights, but unfortunately my front sight post broke off. In all honesty, it was kind of expected due to the polymer design. Can’t say these are the best on the market, but definitely a solid starter.

Good for beginners and those who don’t shoot constantly or professionally.

For those who seeking duty rates irons, I recommended the mbus pros. Yes, more expensive, but worth it in the long run
