This thing is a great value the price and offers an easy solution for mounting a light to the forend versus the models that have lights built in that cost 10x as much. I have mine set up with the 7 section rail and a Streamlight TLR-3 and it works flawlessly. I can only hope the light continues to stand up to the recoil. The forend can be a little slick when your palms are sweaty or wet, but I had a feeling prior to purchase that would be the case. Magpul 870 Forend

It was shorter than the original with was what I wanted and needed. My 6 shot saddle was stopping the action from cycling due to the pump action for-end was too long. The Magpul let it all work correctly with NO modification.

Great Overall Part

This is a great 870 forehand, I specially like that it comes with the castle nut tool to remove the current forehand. Amazing quality for the price. I bought this for my Police Magnum version and I use the mesa tactical 6 shell holder on the side and there are no interference issues at all. Also, I use it with the 11 slot rail section and the angled forehand grip. A bit tough to install but it works.

To date this has held up very well.. We have put a few hundred rounds through with it and I really like the feel and controll you have over the pump.

Magpul 870 Accessories

Easy to install. Pump rubs slightly against barrel on one side (stock long barrel), but does not impede operation in any way. Butt stock is very comfortable, and adjustable length of pull inserts were not necessary for me. Possible to lengthen. It adjusts cheek weld low enough to get a nice line down a barrel with a rail, or short barrel for a home defense/tactical style set up. I gave value a 4, a little expensive, but is a comfortable set up for both parts. Everything included for installation of products, as well as Magpul stickers in the boxes.
