Right tool for the job - Magpul Ranger Floorplate Magazine Accessory

These Ranger floor plates are a great design and definitely make the job of pulling a full mag out of the storage bag a lot easier with an firm hand-hold. They seem a bit expensive given the overall price of the Magpul PMAGs, but that is the supply/demand model at work. Very easy to install and remove when it's time to clean the mag's internals. Magpul needs to get more of the non-black color (sand, green, flat dark earth) Ranger floor plates into the marketplace, since black seems to be the only available color. In summary, I have installed these on all of my 5.56mm and 7,62mm PMAGs and they look great and function perfectly. Magpul should consider offering these as standard issue in lieu of the flat floor plates.
