Just what it says
This product is just as described. Easy to cut to fit, installs easy, a little tight getting on but that gives you a nice snug fit, and it leaves a good textured grip area over your un-used picatinny rail.
Pros: Easy to cut to size, Good snug fit on the rail, Leaves a good grip surface.
Cons: None

Comfortable but thick
I bought these to attach to the Picatinny quad rail foregrip on my S&W M&P Sport 15/22, to make it more comfortable to grip the handgrip without the rail slots digging into my hand. They are very comfortable, but they add a significant amount of girth to the grip. If you have smaller hands, you ma...

Works well for keeping your hands safe
Works well for keeping your hands safe and free from the sharp edges of the picatinny rails. Also helps protect them from the heat of the barrel. You can easily customize what you need by cutting them to length using the joint sections. Magpul always makes a good, well thought out product at a reasonable price point.

Magpul xt mill spec 1913 picatinny rail cover rail cover
It was easy to install. Looks and feels good. It's easy to cut and use in section if needed. I cut about two inches off in order to install a hand stop.
Pros:
- Easy to install and easy to remove but it stays in place until removed
Cons:
- People online are saying it's hard to install but it's not.
Best Used for:
- Hand protection and beautification

Magpul xt mill spec 1913 picatinny rail cover
From what I've read and heard, I thought it would be hard to install but I got in on in about one minute by lining up the slots and hooking one side and using a small flat head screw driver to pry a little at a time. It feels nice and comfortable and looks good. I'm thinking about putting them on all my AR 15s.
Best Used for:
- Protects my hand from the sharp picatinny rail

Covers the rail
Does what it says. Isn't easy to get on, so it's probably going to stay there. Can't ask for more than that.

Just so you know.......
These are great once they are ON. They are very hard to get on without tools. You need metal dental picks or something very hard and thin. You have to pry them up over the rail- people scared of a scratch on their rail don't bother. These are for people who really need protection from heat and sharp rail's that use guns as TOOLS. Just being honest. If thats you- they work great. I really like all mine. Once they are on lol.........they will NOT come off.

I used these over the unused portion of my Ultimak rail in front of my red dot. Mounts nice and low, and fitment is tight.

Tricky to install but works
Just remember when buying these as brand new, you will have to adjust them to make them fit onto your quads.
I’ve used them different quads and they all work with these pieces.
Even when quads are getting hot from shooting, these protect your hands from getting burned.
