Decent, at best
I ordered the shock absorbing buttstock, but there is almost no shock absorption at all. The recoil is still manageable enough to be able to rapid fire in succession while relatively staying on target. Buttstock was easy to install, even though it didn't come with instructions for any of the assembly or description of additional parts(?) that are not being used. Grip and adjustable stock are ergonomic despite lack of shock absorption.

Perfect fit
This is a perfect fit for a Remington 870 tactical shotgun. I suspect it will work on any 870 model as well. Has a nice recoil buffer. Two minor issues it didn’t have any instructions on how to install. You just have to unscrew the hand grip from the back part then it installs with just one screw. The other issue is that it only has two detents for extension. Not a big deal though.

Well worth the money
I couldn’t find the hardware so I called Optic Planet and they couldn’t have been more helpful! I felt foolish after finding it in the handgrip. So as far as the stock goes. I hand you this and a $300 one and bet you couldn’t let me the difference. Great attention to finishing the seems, very very sturdy and can take a fall without issue. I used it in 11° weather and my rifle was knocked off my tailgate onto concrete mind you at 11° and it bounced and didn’t even leave a mark. If you decide to go with this you won’t be disappointed, lastly I did realize the stock has a shock absorber built it, so it lessens the recoil by half, 1” slugs are not as back on the shoulder anymore lol.

Great fit, finish, and feel
This stock fit my Rem870 Tactical perfectly. It took forever for this thing to ship...but that's understandable given they're made in Israel. With everything going on over there, I'm just glad I got it. My only "gripe" was some messy grease on the shock absorber, and the fact that it squeaks when you compress it. But that's minor...under normal use you won't notice. I was just compressing it manually to see how it worked. Overall, this is a very comfortable stock and grip. I'd highly recommend it for any 870 tactical build.

Great Buttstock for 870
This is exactly what i was looking for for my 870. It fit my Remington 870 express tactical perfectly, and has the perfect length of adjustment.

The Shorter Bolt and Washer is in the Grip
I’ve had no issues with about 100 rounds through my 870. The adjustability is very nice and the spring does offer a little bit of recoil softening. Like the title says, you don’t need to hunt around your parts box or order another bolt to attach the grip to the receiver. I was shopping for a shorter bolt when I found another review on another site say it was shipped in the grip, opened the compartment and there it was with the washer. No instructions were included which is no big deal, it does have a QR code but it’s just for the FD website.

Pretty good
Put more than plenty of shells with it. And I have no Regrets, works fantastic and still in one piece. The installation was simple the instructions were easy to follow. Everything shipped in with no imperfections.
