Great Magnifier - mediocre mount
I was worried about this magnifier because of the price relative to an EOtech or Aimpoint model. Let me assure you, the magnifier is more than adequate behind my EOtech EXPS 2.2 on a 5.56 AR. My only dissapointment is the mount which I knew I wanted to replace anyway because I want flip-to-side functionality. I wish Mako offered a decent FTS mount. Beware that any FTS mount you use must have a two-piece ring since both ends of the magnifier are larger than 30mm. I wanted the Larue FTS mount, but it uses a one-piece ring and is incompatible with this magnifier. Overall - this is a great ...

Nice Solid little Magnifier
Sorry folks, I'm too tired to write much.
It's a nice solid little magnifier. The optics look better than I expected, and the ring mount is a joke.
The magnifier does not come with lens caps, with a little luck Butler Creek will find me something to use.
Global Military Gear: I would gladly trade the ring mount I was going to replace with an FTS anyway for a nice set of Butler Creek lens caps!
