mako group glock charging handle
works well and easy to install. my pistol continues to work reliably. charging handle does not affect function. charging handle is not too long and does not affect holstering. I would recommend this to others who have difficulty in pulling the slide open.
FAB Cocking Handle
This FAB cocking handle is great little device that can make shooting the Glock easier more enjoyable....For Seniors or for those who are struggling with disabilities or medical issues this device could be the answer to their needs...As a former Law Enforcement Officer I can also see how this could be a lifesaver under certain shooting situations...I installed this on my Model 20 10mm...It is well made, easily installed and does not interfere with the normal function of my firearm..The cocking handle is removable and can be installed on either left or right side simply by pulling out the handle and repositioning it (no tools required)...The handle may interfere with holstering depending on which style you use...Bob TN.

Good but not great
Was amazing for the time that the handle was on.
I made sure the handle was in tight and it still somehow got loose and fell.

This product is awesome
This slide racker is the best one I've found so far. There are a few reasons for this. First, it's steel. Second, it's the right length to get a full finger on it. Third, the rod is removable which allows disassembly of the gun if you have a frame mounted sight rail, without disassembling the part. The only thing is if you shoot powerful ammunition the rod can come out by itself. The simple fix that I chose was to use a rubber o-ring gasket twisted to hold it in, which has worked flawlessly. Definitely recommend to anyone.

Good concept, bad execution
I bought this to help with racking my slide with a slightly arthritic hand. I shoot USPSA and used this at one match. The handle on the product did not last the first stage of the match. It was gone when I had to unload and show clear. The handle can be removed and switched to the other side and is held in with a detent pin. This is where the design is flawed. There needs to be a set screw, not a detent. However, both Optics Planet and manufacturer offered to replace or return. I chose the replacement and I brazed the handle on with brass. Works great now! If this product had passed a torture test, I would have given 5 stars.

Great Product BUT...
I love this product and it is super sturdy. I've had it on a Glock 20 for 4 years BUT the round rod kept coming out of the base when you racked the gun. I solved this by using a rubber Oring twisted 1 time and inserted into the base. Completely solved the issue. Just bought a second one for my other Glock 20.

Good product, no field testing
I bought this back in October to assist with slide racking for USPSA unlimited optics division. I had a tendency to use my optics as a slide handle and wanted to break that habit! This seemed like the right tool for the job. When I finally used this on my G34 Gen 3 at a USPSA match, the handle did not make it through the first stage. I noticed it missing when I went to "unload and show clear". The stage was a muddy mess and I never did find it.

Works but..................
I have 2 of these. And the detent did not work on either of them. The pins fall out while shooting. I removed the detent and tapped / threaded the hole and added a set screw instead. It works great now.
I am right handed and after using it for several months with the pin on the left side I switch the pin to the right side so that my thumb does not hit the pin when I am drawing my pistol. I like it even more now. If it didn't have the detent issue I would give it 5 stars.
