I used this on an aftermarket slide for a braced Glock that I was having trouble with gripping the slide. The brace’s frame reduced the available gripping surface and blocked most of the serrations. It is kind of expensive for such a small piece of hardware but it is well made and very strong. I’m not worried about it bending or snapping off when racking my slide. I would also recommend it if you are just having a hard time racking the slide normally as it gives great leverage
