Designed by those who have been downrange and staked their life on their equipment.
The front sight dot is quick to acquire and easy to focus on.
The luminescent lines "pop" quite bright with even a brief light exposure, so while they are not tritium like the front dot they are very useable (even during the day...15 seconds with a bright light and man do they glow)
The line system gives you more precise aiming (especially for distance shots) and more accurate alignment.
Front of the rear sight is angled/hooked so you can one hand rack the slide quite easily.
If you are looking for sights not based on the 3 dot system, give these a try.

set screw holder and screw comes loose Glock 17

Product received is not what’s depicted
Product received was not the same as depicted on the website. The picture shows a product with 6 sighting aids (3 vertical and 3 horizontal) and the description says the same thing. However, the product I received has 5 (3 vertical and 2 horizontal).

Not so great in daylight.
I'm not the most experienced shooter but I did not like these sights. In daylight they basically look black and only look green at night when the tritium glows. They have no distinctive color in daylight. So it is very difficult to pick up the front sight in daylight. On the plus side Optics Planet has fantastic customer service and helped me return.

Horrible experience
The rear sight fit was extremely poor. Left a huge gap between the sight and frame. Meprolight sent a new one and it was no different. Then one of the rear sight markers lost its lumination after about two months! STAY AWAY FROM THESE!!!! The company made all kinds of excuses and even got rude about it!
