This product is a good replacement stake for the Malibu landscape light. Being metal, the stake is stronger and when placed in the ground to hold the light is more study. Even in frozen ground, I have been able to insert the stake with no difficulty. Frost doesn't seem to affect it in any way. Personally, I am glad my plastic stakes broke and I had to send for these metal replacements.
