Great tripod, but a bit heavy
I knew this tripod would be heavier than the Carbon version, but it seemed a bit heavier than I expected even knowing that. This isn't necessarily bad for me as I am not trecking for miles and weight isn't a real factor. I use this for my Swarovski ATX both at the range and for local birding so carrying it is not an issue as I am not usually going far. It is superbly stable and I don't think the extra money for me would be worth the weight saving in carbon.
