Nice looking axe. By all appearance this axe has it. The blade kept its edge after several cuts. The handle was well placed into the head. Wood grain was good. I received many compliments. Expectations were that I would have this axe for life. To bad it broke. The axe worked great on pine. Even chopped down a few dead pine trees. Twelve days after receiving this axe it was chipped on one side. The broken piece was about 2 in by 1 in. I used on a hardwood and it failed. My expectations are not that great for this axe. Maybe I just got that one and only poorly made steel marbles axe.
