Marbles compass review
I was, and am disappointed that the Marbles Pocket Compass is made in CHINA.
I don't know why they call it "Large" because it really isn't.
But it does seem to be a quality piece. And it is big enough to get the job done. The "glass" does appear to be real mineral glass, not some form of poly what not. The brass is nicely machined, and knurled. And it does work quite well. The question now is, durability. I'm going to use this as back up to my Garmin GPS. If it does fail, I'll be back to report on it.

Lifetime Companion
My dad always carried a compass in his hunting coat pocket, I still have it and I have always done the same. There are hundreds of cheap plastic compasses available, but if you are trusting your life to it, don't skimp. Well made and solid, it's something that you can pass down to the next generation.
