Great Way to Send Cheap Lead Downrange Fast!
I’ve been really impressed with the MARS Trigger for the Ruger 10/22. I’ve tried several MARS products, and this one is probably my favorite so far because it completely changes the personality of the 10/22. The trigger has a very fast, positive reset and the whole setup makes an already fun .22 much more entertaining to shoot. I also really like that MARS designed this specifically around the 10/22 rather than trying to adapt a system from another platform. Installation was pretty straight forward for me and the adjustable trigger gives you some flexibility to get the feel you prefer. The quality of the parts also seems very good and overall it feels like a well thought out product.
My only real complaint is that the 10/22 itself can be a little picky, so I wouldn’t necessarily judge the MARS system based on every hiccup you might experience with the rifle. Once I got everything working together, I was very happy with the performance. There are a few mixed reviews out there, but my personal experience has been very positive and I would definitly recommend it to someone who already enjoys their 10/22 and wants to try something completely different. It's not exactly a practical upgrade, but thats not really why I bought it, its just a ton of fun.

mars 10/22 frt trigger.
If you want to run subs on the ruger frt from Mars triggers.
You need to replace your steel bolt for an aluminum bolt from Volquartsen.
Get the fire fly aluminum bolt and replace the standard ruger 10/22 bolt.
I did mine and then you dont have to use high velocity ammo.
Mine shoots 710 fps,835 fps...

Dont recommend!!
I bought a mars trigger for my 10/22. Installation video made it easy enough to install. Trigger did not work at all. No fire, saftey would not engage. After sending pics and videos to mars multiple times via their email address I havent received a reply at all. Asking for a refund and return...

10-22 trigger
Down loaded the instructions and installed the trigger. It was pretty easy to install. Adjusting the set screw on the trigger was a bit of a pain. I would recommend putting a little blue locktite on the set screw, mine vibrated and had to readjust it twice.

- It's fun to shoot.

- You can go thru a lot of ammo in a short time.

Awesome 10/22 FRT
Purchased this 10/22 FRT Trigger from Mars to test out with my Ruger 10/22 Archangel build. Needless to say, if your 10/22 can shoot it, this trigger can handle it. Tested it out with a few different ammo types and depending on the velocity, the rate of fire varies. No flaws and it came with a spring. Easy to tune and would recommend for anyone looking at 10/22 FRTs.

Turns a 45yr old ultra reliable 10/22 into the most unreliable rifle I own.

Facts about the MARS frt
Do not trust the bad reviews. I have ran an FFL for 9 years and just installed my second one. They run great on 8” barrel Ruger 10/22 charger and full length 10/22 carbon.
Every weapon system takes tuning to run in a condition other than factory.
They are kind enough to send you a how to video which most companies don’t.
The trigger is adjustable so you can get the reset to where you like it
Keep in mind 22LR is a dirty ammo and is rimfire so not very reliable to begin with. Spend the extra $0.03 and get the higher quality 22 ammo instead of whatever the cheapest box you could find you normally do.
Suppressor is also a great way to increase the cycle rate/ reliability as it will increase back pressure.
It is just a 10/22. If you pull the trigger to the rear too hard the action won’t have enough force to over come the force of your finger. It’s no different than holding the bolt shut by placing a finger behind the charging handle.
Either take the time to learn about the gun or send it to a trusted gun smith.

American Texan 2a Patriot
The mars frt for the 10/22 was on backorder and arrived 2 months ahead of estimated time of delivery. Very easy to assemble after watching quick video. My old 10/22 still had the original mag that would not keep up with the rate of fire. After buying a new mag it will mag dump ten rolls in about a second. Great product and will use opticsplanet again for my other purchases. I was very pleased with the transaction

Marx triggers
Tried it in 9 different 10/22 , it is advertised as drop in but won’t work in my 9 different 10/22’s . After installing according to video not one gun would fire at all
