Runs Great with my EPC9
Got it as a gift from a friend ran 600 rounds so far. Have it on an EPC9 lower. Fun to shoot, didn't need to modify anything.

There Are Limitations
The buffer less system works as intended, but keep in mind the upper doesn’t have LRBHO. It must be mounted on a lowers such as the Shield Arms SA9 or a Foxtrot Mike 9, they have the LRBHO on them. There in no LRBHO on rhe Aero Precision EPC 9, you can use it but no bolt hold. I had the the same issue with the guide rod bracket breaking, but a call to Matador and a new one was sent to me. Because of this piece I wouldn’t want it to be my primary defense weapon, but with or without a folding brace it makes for a fun range toy.

Love it! MP5 copy
Got this and matched with New Frontier Armory lower that take MP5 mag. I also upgraded the charging block. Works flawlessly- 200 round like nothing. Use the new frontier armory lower guys.

Good range gun
As new as they are and the problems they have with what are considered consumable items, they're a fair range gun. I wouldn't trust the internal plastic printed components for anything other than target shooting.

Worked out the kinks
This product started out needing some kinks worked out, for example initial production seemed to produce some fitment issues as well as the followers in magazines being chewed up. I have been in contact with the matador team and actually was invited to their shop where I observed the upgrades and alleviation of these issues. The stated they are also going to be including a troubleshooting card for lowers that aren't the dedicated Matador lowers. I am very happy with this product as well as the responsiveness and essentially no questions asked replacement policy. Great product and great team.

Poor fit doesn't match up with any lower
Tried this on a spikes 9mm lower, an anderson lower, and a joe bob outfitters 9mm lower. Rear pin won't push through. Called Matador Arms haven't heard back yet. I would not recommend this.

Mat 9K/ mp5 conversion
I finally got to match it up with a lower and I found a down fall. The MAT 9k buffer plate is sticking out and don’t allow a lower buffer tube to go in. You will need to cut part out the plate for the lower to sit in. That is why it received a 2 star from. Why didn’t they think of this.
