mine didn't have any damage on it like the others said. installed just fine. pry open the area where the screws thread into with a flat head prior to trying to get it to fit over the barrel nut. it's a slight press fit. i then put my scope over the upper and handguard and tightened it down to align the handguard to my uppers rail, dab of Loctite on the screws and tightened it down.

Excellent product for any build can’t beat the price. It is one of the lightest, straightest, and easiest to line up I’ve worked with. I’ve used dozens to complete builds of varying length! Overall great product and can’t go wrong with the price point.

Matrix Arms Foxtrot M-LOK Handguard
Because of some of the more negative reviews that I had seen on here I inspected the hand guard thoroughly as soon as I open the package and could not find any sign of damage or inferior quality in any way. After mounting it on the rifle and firing the rifle I am very happy with the product. It feels good in my hand, It fits the rifle exactly the way I feel like it should fit and feels very secure. I think it looks great and I would definitely order another one for a future build.

Good Solid Handguard
Has a medium to slim diameter & feel compared to some others, providing an excellent wrap around grip. Also has a heavier main spline at the top (picatinny top) than most providing good rigidity for add on's to your rail like PEQ's, clip on thermals or even flashlights, and all at an affordable price. Win Win... Good to Go rail

Good product with poor quality control
It looked like a good handguard but unfortunately someone dropped it prior to anodizing. And wasn’t caught and was shipped to me. Of course I noticed after I had the barrel nut on. So if you purchase be sure to check right away.

Decent looking if it wasn’t for dent.
Arrived with a dent in one end. Was anodized over it so had to of been dropped during manufacturing process. And was never caught during any of the quality checks. Unfortunately I noticed after I had barrel nut installed. So not sure if I’m going to bother with a return and be with out my weapon for another couple weeks.
