Maximum Defense Hate Brake
If you want a AR type compensator that puts out ZERO flash, this is for you. I usually don’t get too excited about all the new bolt on accessories but this is does what it claims and exceeded my expectations. Well done Maxim Defense!
Hatebrake nothing to hate about it
Installed on my 5 inch 300 blackout. Install is super easy with the 3/4 opening on the front easy to get a torque wrench directly on the Hatebrake to torque to specs. I’m using this to shoot sub-sonic ammo only. Until I get my you know what for my suppressor

Hate Brake
Perfect fit and quality. As described in detail. Using on a 5 inch slr barrel. Couldn’t ask for a better shot. Need more characters so I’ll tell you the blast is minimal fireball is shot forward people to the side will still be upset.

Perfect for my 5.5 pistol super well made I will recommend to everyone easy to install work exactly the way is designed perfect finish like everything from Maxin defense this a nice addition to small pistol

works great
Works great on my 7.5" ar 308. This is a better and lighter option than any muzzle blast deflector. The design actually has a chamber like a krink or noveske flaming pig which captures some of the muzzle flash. Only thing is if you want it to sit under your handguard you cant use a slim handguard.

Wrong sized shroud shipped with right sized inner brake
OpticsPlanet shipped me a 5/8-24 threaded inner brake piece for this muzzle device (which fits), but a ½x28 outer shroud - which won't fit on my 300blk barrel.
I contacted Maxim Defense for a sanity check before reaching out to OpticsPlanet for a return, which confirmed the parts didn't match & decided to do business directly with them for a RMA.
Overall, the build quality on this company's products are great. I have a SCW brace from them as well (no issues).
Their customer service has also been a pleasure doing business with.
I'd give 5/5 starts if not for the mismatch from OP.
