SB Tactical Brace Conversion
Bought the Maxim butt stock after “stamping” my braced 300 Blackout AR pistol into an SBR. This butt stock slipped right into the SB Tactical unit in place of the rubber brace “cuff” and works and feels so much better now. Another reviewer suggested adding tape to the bars is you fell the fit is too loose but I don’t think it’s necessary really. If I do decide to tinker with the fit, rather than electrical tape I might try slipping some heat shrink tubing over the bars to tighten the fit but I’m not convinced that is even necessary. Heavy duty, light weight
I was a little concerned this would be flimsy, but Maxim found the right balance between rigidity and weight. Locks up solid with no wobble.

WORKS ON SB TACTICAL SBPDW!
After filling out the Forms to SBR, I learned that Maxim Defense assisted SB Tactical in the development of the SBPDW and decided to take a chance on this product. I'm glad I did. Works like the brace only way more comfortable.

Maxim stock
Fits great on a Palmetto-Maxim pistol lower when used with a rifle upper. It adds a bit more length and is a little more solid than a pistol brace.

maxim defense stock
I had purchased a sb tactical pdw brace years ago, and was always curious if this stock would work with the sb tactical system. Long story short, it does. Unfortunately, sb tactical builds their holes like a hundredth of a mm larger than maxim defense. This means that the stock will fit and be effective, but will rattle a little bit when you manuever with it. An easy fix is to just wrap some electrical tape tightly around the metal bars that slide into the sb tactical castle nut. With that being said, just do youself a favor and get the complete maxim defense combat carbine stock system.

Awesome stock
I put this on my colt H-bar it is far better than the collapsible stock that was made of polymer, this thing is solid and it so sturdy and is better than anything else that I have on other ar's , I don't like a short barrel 16" with this stock is worth the price, and I wish I never bought polymer after seeing this thing too bad you could not see the way it looks that is a great product.

Great stock
Just SBR my pdw so I swap out the brace for a stock. They are about the same length and only different thing is the stock pad is metal. I am very happy with my purchase. MD makes amazing and solid products.

The Maxim Defense Industries CQB Extended Cheek Weld Buttstock works great, just squeeze together the two tabs on the bottom of the stock. Then slide the new one on, just make sure it's on a rifle or NFA registered SBR.

Maxim Defense
Maxim Defense is my go to Pistol retractable Stock for almost all my AR 15 and AR 9 mm builds. A little more expensive than other options but well worth it. And if you decide to get a SBR stamp you can just buy the QCB buttstock without the pistol Velcro arm strap instead of a of a complete new stock with buffer and buffer tube assembly. Great quality and won’t regret it once you have it. OpticsPlanet is my go to place to buy. Best prices and free shipping . Maxim is top quality equipment.
