Great f&f, but not working - Maxim Defense CQB PDW Brace for AR15

I bought the Maxim PDW brace to install in a (fully functional) Aero Precision 300 Blackout with 8.5 inch barrel. I installed the Brace, with standard buffer/spring combo, and went to town, only it never left the driveway... After replacing my barrel, replacing my BCG, expanding the gas port and installing a Seekins adjustable gas block, no combination or amount of testing variation has yet to the reproduce the excellent "bolt hold open" and proper extraction/feeding performance I had before. In a nutshell-- IT STILL DON'T SHOOT.

I'm currently attempting to work with Maxim Tech Support, but no positive results yet. The fit, finish and performance of this product are exceptional... with one minor issue; IT DOESN'T WORK for my intended purpose, which is to operate the weapon I protect my home and family with. NO CONFIDENCE.
