Nuworldman's Review of Maxim Defense Industries JP Silent Captured Spring
If u want a quiet MSR along with a smooth as silk action then this is what you want. Since I bought my 1st one 5 years ago, I have lost track of how many rifles I have with the JP spring. Every build has worked flawlessly and that smooth action still puts a smile on my face. You wont be disappointed. Think of it as a captured spring.
Pros:
- Smooth, quiet, no long spring to deal with.
Cons:
- It does cost more than a regular buffer spring
Best Used for:
- All modern sporting rifles
