JP silent capture spring
If u want a quiet MSR along with a smooth as silk action then this is what you want. Since I bought my 1st one 5 years ago, I have lost track of how many rifles I have with the JP spring. Be careful which one you order
Product looked well built and others I have used functioned perfectly. Unfortunately, I accidentally ordered the CQB which did not fit in my carbine buffer tube. Double check that you are ordering the right unit
Good spring for a 300blk build
I have the standard version of this spring and put it in my 7.5" 300blk build with the JB Tactical HBPDW brace. This solved some of feeding issues that i was having with 200gr subsonic ammo when using a low mass bcg. I had to put a quarter inside the buffer tube as spacer to make it flush against the tail of the bcg. I did noticed that the spoon scraping sound is gone when i pull the bcg back, which was nice. Overall, i highly recommend this product especially if for 300blk builds using subsonic ammo.

Used this in my EPC-9 with the JP 9mm bolt HBPDW brace and a Rare Breed Trigger and it worked perfectly with zero need for modification.

Best buffer system I've used
Recently build a honey badger clone 300blk. Anyone who's built a 300blk knows the pain you have to go through in order to get it running as smooth as possible with the ability to swap between supers and subs, suppressed or unsuppressed. Matching a buffer system with the right BCG can be challenging. I went with a Kryptic coatings low mass BCG and started out with the heavy buffer. Ended up short stroking randomly so changed up the Ammo and ammo weights. No matter what ammo I fed her, she threw a fit. Since a jp buffer system is literally half the cost of that BCG, I decided to order their "standard" weight buffer. Haven't had a single issue since. This is the smoothest, flattest shooting AR I've yet to run hard. Very pleased with the results.

Maxim defense silent captured spring
Amazing add on to my ar pistol, I installed this on my HBPDW brace and it made my build shoot flawless, I have a suppressor so the gas was drying the BCG causing malfunctions , once I tuned it with this heavy buffer the BCG stayed wet , also it is super smooth and it helped with recoil , overall this has been one of the best add ons I’ve done to my build

Paired with an hbpdw brace and it works perfectly. I can't speak to longevity of the product as I only have a few hundred rounds using it.

Maxim JP Silent Spring, Exactly!
I have several AR SPRs and pistols with Maxim Defense PDW/CQB setups, and I'm very pleased with their products, definitely first class! Until I started shooting suppressed, I hadn't noticed just how noisy the standard buffer and spring were. The MDI JP Captured Silent Spring really works. Same performance, quality, and reliability, but it's "quiet."

just the best. Popped it in a sugar weasel/badger with a q shorty stock and it changes the game. gun runs everything way better now and feels great regardless where the gas is set
