JP silent capture spring
If u want a quiet MSR along with a smooth as silk action then this is what you want. Since I bought my 1st one 5 years ago, I have lost track of how many rifles I have with the JP spring. Be careful which one you order
Product looked well built and others I have used functioned perfectly. Unfortunately, I accidentally ordered the CQB which did not fit in my carbine buffer tube. Double check that you are ordering the right unit
Works perfectly, so far.
Paired with an hbpdw brace and it works perfectly. I can't speak to longevity of the product as I only have a few hundred rounds using it.

Maxim JP Silent Spring, Exactly!
I have several AR SPRs and pistols with Maxim Defense PDW/CQB setups, and I'm very pleased with their products, definitely first class! Until I started shooting suppressed, I hadn't noticed just how noisy the standard buffer and spring were. The MDI JP Captured Silent Spring really works. Same performance, quality, and reliability, but it's "quiet."

JP Silent Captured Spings Rule - in all variations
The two best AR upgrades - a JP Silent Captured Spring and a Geissele Trigger. Glad Maxim Defense partnered up with JP on this. Super smooth action with excellent felt recoil reduction. Installation is straight-forward.

Solves operating problems - smooth and quiet
I was having some cycling issues with a traditional buffer and spring. This wasn't my first JP SCS system and I once again was not disappointed. Solved my problem and runs flawlessly. Much smoother and quieter operation as well. Very happy with JP's products, once again.

JP SCS - The Fix
Was having short cycling issues with some subsonics in my 8" .300 BLK conversion on my Saint Edge AR Pistol; installed the JP Silent Captured Spring in my Maxim CQB - problem solved. Much smoother and quiter operation compared to the stock spring and buffer.

7-20 through 12-14 2019
All sounded great so gave this a chance.It now lives on my MCR.milled a tiny bit off the top of the rods to accommodate the wider upper,and used the standard pdw mount with Maxim tube.charging handle and stock/brace rods function completely with this setup. heavy spring is chugging right along.and the brace work's just fine for the SBR barrels \m/ \m/

Best deal ever
This is going to replace my current but stock with Maxim Defense CQB buffer system. It is very impressive. This is not my first JP Silent Capture Spring. It works great in my 308 and AR-15. Loved the system so much I bought one for my son.

Smooth, Quiet, Allows Tuning
Significant noise reduction compared to standard spring/buffer. The completely customizable platform allowed me to tune a 300 blk pistol to perfection. Optional springs and weights a plus. Great quality product overall, fit and finish are excellent. Running this in a maxim brace. Will be buying these springs for all future builds. One thing to note when purchasing: there are models specifically made for Maxim's cqb brace/stock, and models for standard stocks. Same with spring kits.
