Most Helpful Positive Review Very happy with my purchase!
Bought this for my husband's Maxpedition hiking bag. Matches nice and very useful. We were surprised the ties to attach it were not included.
Most Helpful Negative Review Could be better pouch
This pouch has two cons that make me think I'm gonna sell the one I got. First of all the zipper for the bottle pouch is too stiff. Furthermore its not pratical as ziping horizontally like that is not natural. Second of all the MOLLE webbing on the back clearly lacks a third column. Indeed attachi...

Maxpedition 10x4 Water Bottle Holder

by Dave, from CA, United States Written on March 14, 2016
Perfect for camera lenses and camera flash. My most recent purchase was to hold my Streamlight Siege lantern. Nothing fragile about The Siege but this holder keeps the D cell lantern and batteries (two extra sets) all together. Working the zipper is pretty much a two handed operation. I treated it with some vegetable based paste (Frog Lube) which helped. Between the color offerings and the velcro on the lid these bags are easily identifiable for grab-and-go with having to think which is which.
Pros:
  • Sturdy
  • padded
Cons:
  • None

10 x 4 Water bottle holder

by Fred, from CA, United States Written on September 7, 2014
Keeps water conveniently at your side (or where ever) instead of in your pack. Also keeps select items available for immediate use (using small pouch attached). Can add many other items to this pouch (strapped my knife to the side).
Pros:
  • rugged
  • Puts important items at your side
Cons:
  • Need tac clips to attach to belt
Best Used for:
  • hunting
  • hiking

An excellent product

by Legacy Reviewer, from GA, United States Written on March 18, 2013
I use these pouches to carrying my water bottles. I have attached them to my backpacks or attached a strap to them. The insulation inside of the carriers can keep ice water cold for several hours. I prefer using these over camelbacks and canteens.
Pros: Well made, extremely useful
Cons: None

nice pouch but a little large

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on July 6, 2011
it's a good pouch, but a little larger than i expected. it can hold up more than just a botttle of water. my cell phone, some pocket money etc. it matchs very well with the TacTie and the Maxpedition backpack(vulture 2). but for beginners it will take you some time to learn how to connect them. it's good on material and workmanship. but the zipper is alittle stiff, maybe i need to use it more.

Great & Works As Designed

I bought two of these and have attached them to my Maxpedition Falcon II backpack (one on either side using 5" tac-ties).

I like the extra small pocket on the outside of the carrier for small items.

The material and zipper needs to be used and loosened up as they are stiff and hard to use... and one may find it difficult to use at first.

I am happy with my purchase.
