Most Helpful Positive Review The name Condor fits this back to a T
Size and shape of this back only adds to its excellent quality of materials ond manufacture. The improvements over the Condor I are many and well thought out. The hydration access from the outside back panel without having to open the pack is very smart and if you don't need the water bladder for you mission or job blends in so well its a great hidden storage pocket. The zipper hides in the seam that well. Would make an excellent bag for any operator that needs a get-in-out quick pack Pros: Excellent hydration pack access panel Cons: Can't think of any honestly

Great backpack

by Dan, from FL, United States Written on December 8, 2017
Great backpack for hiking. Load it up and strap it onto your back and you will forget it’s there. I hiked several miles through the forest and couldn’t have brought a better pack with me. 5 stars wish I could give it more.
Best Used for:
  • hiking

Typical Maxpedition

by William, from TN, United States Written on October 13, 2016
The product is made with the expected Maxpedition attention to detail and "bombproof" strength that characterizes its products, of which I have many! I took the unique heavy attache/computer case for my large laptop and the shoulder bag to hold my Ipad and snacks during the long flights on my trips to Kwajalein Island where I spent much of last year on assignment and both pieces of gear received numerous positive comments. Consider me MAXPEDITION-branded!

Nice but deceiving

by mav3, from PA, United States Written on February 9, 2015
I wanted to use this bag for fishing, hiking, and camping and where it's specs read good online and it had some decent reviews when it arrived it was in no way large enough to be effective in the field. Return policy is great and I exchanged it however I'm still waiting for the exchanged bag to arrive.

Best backpack I ever had.

by Legacy Reviewer, from WA, United States Written on March 6, 2013
I did a lot of research before buying this backpack. I was afraid it would be too large, because the pictures made me think it was slightly larger than it actually is. The main compartment is large enough to fit my 14 inch laptop and a large portfolio notebook (plus a little more), which is just big enough.

It's extremely well made, and I can tell that this will last me for decades.
Pros: Very durable, lightweight, tough
Cons: None

Great ruck

by Legacy Reviewer, from WA, United States Written on January 27, 2013
Got this pack after buying an inferior, similar pack from a competing site. The inferior pack fell apart in matter of months after regular use, which was carrying lite equipment and the occasional ruck run. Then I bought this Maxped ruck from OP. It's a fantastic piece of kit at a great price. This pack is very reliable for day to day schlepping to carrying range gear and ammo. It'll last you for years. Good investment.
Pros: Awesome all round pack

bombproof backpack

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from WA, United States Written on January 27, 2013
The back pack is rugged, but comfortable to wear, the construction is second to none. A great bag for everyday use. If you plan on carrying a laptop make sure it isnt in the 15inch range because it is a tight fit.
Pros: quality and construction is excellent. By far the most durable backpack I have ever purchased
Cons: smaller than I thought it would be. I have a 15 1/2 inch laptop and it barely fits in the main compartment.

You get what you pay for

by John, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on January 10, 2013
Top quality zippers, stitching and comfort. Perfect size for my needs as a vehicle BOB. Plenty of molle attachment points and compartments. I have plenty of cheap bags. Maxpedition is not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. I have other Maxped gear and have never been disappointed. I usualy regret my cheap purchases and end up buying quality later, having wasted my $ on the cheap goods. save yourelf the aggravation and buy quality the first time. Now, if I can continue to follow my own advice in the future...
Pros: Absolute top quality
Cons: none
