Tough as nails
The stitching on my old duffle was finally wearing out after thirty years so I needed to replace it. The doppleduffle is designed like a tank and made tough like bear. I appreciate the effort the Maxpedition designers made to increase the functionality of the duffle bag by giving it some features of a back pack.
But, I misjudged the size of the doppleduffle when I ordered it. I really needed more storage for clothes and gear. If I am going into the back country, I'll use my regular backpack. When I need to haul tons of gear from location to location I need large dufflebags.

Maxpedition DoppelDuffel Bag 0608 Tuff as nailes
One great bag plenty of room, made like a tank will do everything I need it to do and carry, I have several Maxpedition items and I will say that they are very well made and I will sick with them.Bought this duffle bag for Trips. I wanted something large but not as large as the sea bag I had in the Army. This Maxpedition Doppelduffel is a nice medium size for say a two day trip anywhere.
In short the Maxpedition Doppelduffle is easily carried on you back (has two shoulder straps), has good capacity (3200 cu. in), there are many handles for ease of handling/grabbing, is heavy duty (you can check it at the Airport), and looks great. It cost more than other similar duffle bags but thats because of its higher quality and ruggedness.

Very Versatile Pack
Great pack for airline travel. There are a variety of ways to store you gear in the various compartments and if the bag is not packed to capacity it can be carried on planes.
