Medical Pouch used by a Medic
Awesome little first aid pack. I work full time as a paramedic, and I E.D.C. this kit in a maxpedition mongo.
Quality is awesome, as maxpedition typically is. This is quite roomy inside, and has many loops and pockets for organization.
I would say this is for pack or belt wear only for carry, its too large for most cargo pockets.
The main way I judge something I own is if I would replace it with the same thing if it were ever lost or stolen, and with this I certainly would.
Pros: Nice layout, very customizable, rugged design, maxpedition quality, roomy interior, drawstring cord.

FR-1 - The perfect first aid pack.
First aid kits are a necessary item on any hike, hunt, or adventure. The type of first aid kit you chose and what you pack into it are personal choices. The FR-1 is a perfect choice for those who are on the fence about what type of pack to get. Despite it's small size you can pack quite a bit into it. I chose this as an individual first aid kit but I have enough stuff packed into it easily accommodate several other people depending on the extent of the injuries. Taking a first aid course is highly recommended to prepare yourself for larger incidents. The pack it sturdy and well built. I have no fear of this thing splitting at the seams or rotting away. I like that I can carry it either inside my backpack or pounted externally.
Pros:
- Price
- Ease of use
- well built
- Sturdy
- Compactness
Cons:
- none... yet
Best Used for:
- hunting
- Bug out bag
- hiking

FR-1 Medical Pouch
Used to have pouch of the same size but it did not have any way to secure items internally. Whenever I had to open the pouch to get an item, many other would fall out. At night, this was especially not a good thing. Also if I had to get to something fast it was a bit more difficult. This pouch solves all those problems.
Pros:
- Secures items well
- Organizes items
Cons:
- None
Would recommend: Yes

Great pouch for toiletry
I bought this pouch to use as a toiletry pouch. The dedicated toiletry pouch Maxpedition sells is nice but I wanted something less bulkier. The FR-1 very nicely fills this role.
It has lots of inner bands to keep things tied down.
You have lots of points outside the pouch to hang it (carry handle, D-rings).
The Molle on the side and front allow you to hang things if you don't have a table.
MOLLE on the back for attaching is a bit too tight, making attaching the pouch an experience a bit less pleasurable than with pouches from other manufacturers
Pros: Lots of inner bands for keeping objects, carry handle, D-rings, Molle on sides
Cons: MOLLE a bit tight

Medic Pouch
Great Medic Bag, it's my medical bug out bag. I keep everything I can fit in there, band aids, wipes, medical tape, gauze, scissors, tweezers, etc. Also bought 2 other Maxpedition pouches and used the 3in. ties to put one on each side of the FR-1 Pouch, very happy with it!
Pros: Small, light, waterproof
Cons: Can be too small
