Very nice bipod
Rock solid, easy to use all the functions. Especially the canting spring loaded handle and the 45 degree position which allows me to get lower for a more comfortable shooting position. This bipod will help with accuracy because of that.

MDT GRND-pod bipod
I like the mloc mount for this item, I had one with an Arca mount that I had pop off two different times while at the range shooting. It's not the fault of MDT, it is inherently due to the Arca design. I already had a mloc mount MDT bipod on a different rifle, it is a rock solid mount that I torqued to 30 inch pounds and have never had an issue.
The bipods other features about the adjustments are A number one. I think the composition of the aluminum and carbon fiber looks and performs perfectly. I now have this bipod on my 6.5 Creedmore Tikka Ace Target, my 30-06 Tikka T3x, and my Seekins 308 Win.
I think the price tag is worth every penny, you get what you pay for with this bipod.

Solid Bipod
I put this on a mlok to arca adapter for my DD SPR. It has just enough adjustment to be dangerous. It fits all my ground/braced needs to fine tune to the quirky shapes of things. Gave me awesome stability when zeroing and out to 600. I havent tried a bunch of other bipods, but this was the most recommended one and I am very pleased. Plus the aesthetic is above par.
Pros:
- durable
- Adjustable
- Price to Feature Ratio
- 1lb
Cons:
- Wish could lock shortest adjustement (sometimes will extend 1 click on accident)
Best Used for:
- Arca rail
- Ground/braced shooting.

American Manufacturing at it’s Best
This is an extremely well made bipod. Compare it to any of the import bipods and it would be considered World Class. I may buy another bipod one day and you can bet it will be made by MDT.

Excellent ARCA Bipod
I have shot the PRS on and off over the last several years, and I have used bipods from Atlas and Accu-Tac. I bought this bipod to go on a precision 556 gas gun I built, and it suits that role perfectly. It is very light weight, the adjustment range of the legs is ample and the adjustments are easy to make on the fly, even from the prone position. There is virtually no play in the legs, and it is very solid and doesn't wobble/wiggle in any way. I don't think I would choose to use it on a 20lb+ bolt gun, but on a gas gun, it is perfect. I only have 2 quibble with it. The screw adapter that attaches it to the rail is kind of cheap and made of plastic, and I could see that getting damaged with hard use, but it is easily replaceable. And the tension knob that allows you to control the tension of the cant is very touchy. The difference between full lockout and easy to cant is very small. I like a lot of tension but not locked out, and it was difficult to get it set right where I wanted it. But, it's cheaper than an Atlas and Accu-Tac, and it isn't as bulky as an Accu-Tac, so for the purpose I bought it for, it is more than adequate.
Pros:
- Light weight, easy adjustments, very stable
Cons:
- Cant Tensioner and maybe durability
Best Used for:
- Any precision rifle if you don't want to spend more than necessary
