Direct Replacement for Oryx Chassis
Direct replacement for Oryx Chassis. Thumb shelf is functional. No issues with install. Watch YT videos from MDT on installation and torque values. Would purchase again for to install on similar type of rifle chassis.

Almost great...
Initially, I was impressed. However, the more I used it the less I was.
The outer grip halves have a good shape and feel good and solid in your hand, just a little texture but not rough. My grip halves were slightly bowed though and until screwed tight do no connect flush with one another along the...

Good fit, great feel
I really like this grip. The adjustability and overall ergonomics of it are just great. Thumb shelf with my fused thumb is comfortable. Need to get dialed in with it, but I see this being a big improvement.
Pros:
- Fit and adjustability
Cons:
- Hard plastic, a few sharp edges to smooth out
Best Used for:
- Shooting, hunting, competition
Would recommend: Yes
Good idea for a rifle
Great way to adjust the length of pull of the trigger, the bad thing is that product is bit wobelly, tried different things and unable to get a solid lock up

I expected better from MDT
Absolute garbage. Feels like cheap Chinese plastic and the fit/finish is lacking. With the screws and nuts in place there is significant movement in the grip. I would NEVER trust this to support my rifle, it feels like it would snap the first time it is bumped into a barrier. Absolutely do not buy this.

Love the adjustability! Excellent quality! I installed this on my grey birch 10/22 and it fits perfect!

- Adjustable, comforable
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- I installed mine on my Grey Birch chassis

Love this product, will be a staple in every precision build from here on

Great Percision Grip
The grip allows for a good degree of flexibility in positioning so you can find something that works best for you.

MDT VERTICAL GRIP
feels great in my hand. Perfect for my chassis. Can't wait to get more time with it.

Adjustable grip
What’s nice about the grip, besides that it is a vertical grip. It can be adjusted for length from grip to trigger. This will be great for shooters with longer fingers. Mine is currently on my precision Rimfire. Would recommend.

Great Grip, but it needs some finishing work
TL/DR: Feels good, works well, sharp edges need to be sanded/filed down though.
Got this grip for my MDT chassis because mine came with an AR style grip and I didn't like the angle for precision shooting. This grip seemed like a great option for the price. I did see people complain about the edges being rough and it's 100% true. I did an initial test fit and noticed the sharp/rough edges right away. They won't cut you or anything, but they do make it uncomfortable to hold onto. Especially those under the horizontal part right by the trigger. Only took a couple minutes of sanding/filing to get rid of the rough edges and it still looks and feels great. Just would have been nice to get a finished product.
Only other complaint would be how tight you have to make the bolts compare to the nut size. The nut that slips into the slot is slightly too small so it digs into the grip. I feel like if you have to adjust this too often eventually it'll wear through the detents and spin freely. I might get slightly larger nuts at one point but haven't bothered since I don't think I'll need to move it much.

Pros:
- Feel good in the hand
- Adjustability is nice
Cons:
- Finish on edges is rough (needs sanding)
- Retaining nuts are a little small and dig into the grip more than they should.
Best Used for:
- Precision chassis

Vertical Grip
I'm using this grip on a McRees chassis and for "ME" it is what I like. It easily mounts in place of most AR style grips and then adjusts to your hand size. I will be adding this grip to another rifle riding in a chassis.
Pros:
- Mounts easily
- is solid
Cons:
- None yet!
Best Used for:
- I'm using it for NRL/PRS type shooting
Would recommend: Yes
