Davis's Review of MDT Ruger American Short Action Field Stock Chassis System

Ruger American fell right into place with the ability to run aics magazines. The fore end is a bit flexible but I added an arca rail and it took all the flex out of it. This is my second field stock and I highly recommend it to someone looking to replace a factory tuberware stock with something affordable, yet very functional.
Pros:
  • Price, ergonomics, eye appeal, vert grip. Mlok on three sides
Cons:
  • Fore end flex but very little
Best Used for:
  • Cheap precision plinker; replacement for sorry factory stock
