great upgrade for ruger american predator gen 2! solid and rigid, great palm swell feels very comfortable to shoot alows my finger to find the trigger more instictivley and at a much much flatter angle for a better straight back pull, added a little weight mitigating recoil.

installing the magazine latch was a bit frustrating but comes with the appropriate tools for the job just be patient with it. over all the swap was very easy

I purchased the black stock for the Ruger Gen II and it fit perfectly.

Huge improvement over original stock, easy install besides mag release latch

The stock came on time, in a well-packaged box along with the bipod I also purchased. The only thing that might have been missing was a replacement for the bolt release pin. The installation video I watched from MDT said that I would need to replace the bolt release pin with a new, longer one but maybe that was only for the Gen 1 Ruger American. Time will tell if that’s an issue or not.

The chassis itself is incredibly easy to install. It feels very rigid and sturdy and the construction looks good. It matches my Banish suppressor in FDE and the MDT Bipod perfectly. The adjustable cheek riser makes a huge difference in getting a good eye picture quickly and I love having so much M-LOK to play with now.

I have no shot it yet unfortunately but based on videos and other reviews I have no doubt it will be an improved experience over the original stock.

Put this under a Ruger American (gen 1) .223. it grouped sub moa at 100 yards immediately. It's heavier, much heavier. Looks great, ultra functional, the mlok slots make it super easy to add accessories. Great price for how much it upgraded a budget barreled action.

OpticsPlanet was great. Super fast shipping and was in stock. Most places were out of stock. My first MDT stock and I will be purchasing more soon. Perfect stock for hunting and target shooting balances great and fairly lightweight.

Not to sound cliché, but this MDT stock completely improved the dynamics of my Ruger Ranch chambered in .300 blk. The ergonomics are just better when compared to the flimsy factory stock. Plus, this chassis provides enhanced rigidity for improved accuracy. I love it. Not to mention, it looks pretty sweet!

I'd also like to add that MDT's customer service is outstanding.

I have both the Magpul Hunter and now the MDT Field Stock. The MDT feels slightly sturdier. The Magpul Hunter was put on a Savage 10, the MDT went to a Ruger American Predator. The MDT fit well BUT it did not come with a magazine latch as depicted on MDT’s website, the box, and the pictures shown here. Now starting the process of trying to get one from MDT directly. I had read a previous review stating the same issue but assumed it may have been a fluke. Silly me. I still gave it three stars on the product for what it is, maybe you will have better luck…

This is a really solid stock for the money. It will completely change the feel of any gun with a cheap polymer stock, and will be quite a bit more rigid. It won't be as rigid as a full on chassis system, but it won't cost nearly as much either. It keeps the barrel completely floated with no chance of touching the stock. The ergonomics are so much better than your traditional stocks. The m-lok slots make adding pic rails or arca plates a breeze, so customizing it to your needs is quite easy. 450 Bushmaster users be warned, no one technically makes an AICS magazine for that round(which this stock requires), so be prepared to try different .308/short action AICS magazines to find one that works. I ended up using a Christensen magazine, and had to do some minor filing on the front of the magazine to prevent the case from catching. Other than that minor change, works great on my Ruger American Ranch in 450BM.

This stock fit 100% perfect. Looks and feels great. A good addition to make this rifle that much better without breaking the bank.
