Great cost effective platform to build on
I had been wanting to build a something for quite some time (on the economic side) and after much research I narrowed down the MDT LSS-XL Gen2 chassis along with a Savage 110 chambered in 7mm PRC. The transfer from the manufactures stock to the MDT is simple and effortless. After that pairing with a nice grip and buttstock from leftover AR builds the rifle came together nicely. The MDT was flawless and much lighter than the factory stock. I did try a couple different ACIS magazines and found that the one from MDT fed the best.

great chassis for distance shooting
Not light. This will add quite a bit of weight to your rifle. That helps with stability and recoil. My biggest complaint is that the photo shows the entire chassis with magazine, stock and grip which are not included. Had to order the MDT magazines to get a fit. The price adds up with all the components. Despite that I'm happy with how easily it came together and how tight my grouping was with the same rifle in the new chassis.

MDT LSS-XL
In the starting phase of building a rifle. Shipping was super fast! The product was exactly as advertised and in perfect condition. Can’t wait to finish this hunting / long range shooting setup! The chassis is perfect, not even a small scratch. Seems like a lightweight setup so far while still being ridged. I only wish the pictures would have shown that it was just the chassis as well. You have to go down to features and see on the last one that it’s just the chassis, no stock or grip, could have been more clear but overall wasn’t an issue.

If your looking for a good light weight upgrade for your rifle this is not it my friend, if your looking to make a good heavy upgrade that’s looks like it’s going to last for a long time this is it, and it doesn’t come with grip, nor buttstock, found out the hard way when it arrived was a little disappointed for that price it should be complete like the picture and by the way the mag doesn’t come with it also, but shame on me for not reading the description fully cause I went back and looked on my order and nothing comes with, side note is very nice chassis built heavy and well

1/3 of what you need
I recently purchased this for my new rifle build. I was excited to get the chassis until I got it. In the description I never saw that it was missing the stock and grip. I understand now that they don’t, so it was partially my fault but the ease of trying to get the right fitment of butt stock and pistol grip was the hardest part. Still unsure if I have the right parts since shipping has taken forever.

not complete
Rifle looks sharp, stock fit perfectly, however, the wrong magazine was delivered, original magazine will not fit my caliber 338 and the correct one appears to be a few weeks before delivery. So, as to their claim that it will improve accuracy has yet to be seen. The biggest frustration is the delivery time, "backorder" seems to be very common with MDT.
