Mdt M Lok Thumb Rest
Nice versatile thumb rest and the adjustability to achieve comfort in the positioning you choose a bit expensive but the comfort it achieves cant be ignored .
Worth a Try
I ordered this for one of my guns with a larger MLok handguard. Works great with the hand stop I have and creates a more secure hold on a gun I can’t wrap my thumb around the top of.

does what i was looking for
Everyone’s AR setup is unique to them. That being said this may not work for you or maybe it will. based on how you hold your barrel and your hand placement. For me this works really well right next to my white light button. I can keep my thumb out of my optic line, keep great securement of my firearm. Then with a small movement it’s up to my light
