Got this telescope for my adult daughter for christmas. It was easy to assemble, but the alignment procedure couldn't complete due to a motor failure. The Meade customer service line wasn't open until 4 days after Christmas, but on the fifth day the wait wasn't too long considering that they had a high volume of calls. The rep was very apologetic and exchanged to motor unit through the mail. A couple of weeks later the new unit came, but this unit wouldn't power up with the LNT unit plugged in. Even with the LNT unit removed, the new unit still had a motor failure. With 2 DOA units, I gave up. OpticsPlanet accepted the return with a full refund with no hassles. Customer service from both Meade and OpticsPlanet were good. Product was useless.
