Meade ETX-125 hard carry case.
Dropped it 1 time, yes unfortunit accident but not 1 thing was damaged or scratched thanks to the foam interior and individual compartments.
Pros: Protects your scope and accesary`s you have inside it.
Cons: a little on the heavy side. ( but well worth the protection)
Meade ETX-125 Aluminum Hard Carry Case
The first case shipped to me was missing two rivets from the latches.
The second case was okay but after loading the ETX-125 and accessories into the case and lifting it up the metal in the case is so flimsy the handle pulls the top put of the case away from the bottom part of the case. No I would not recommend this product to anyone.
Also I got stuck with the return cost of shipping the case back for exchange with no reimbusement from OPT.

Great case for trasnporting telescope
this case makes transporting meade etx 125 telescope super easy and gives it good protection.

Great hard-case and an excellent value!
This is an absolutely great deal for a case for your ETX-series telescope. I researched building my own or repurposing another case, but all options would have been heavier, bulkier or more expensive to implement. This case is not too heavy and the size is perfect for what is in it.
Only a few things would have made this case better: 1) while there are a few pre-cut eyepiece compartments, there is plenty of room for more and would beat carrying an extra case for your eyepieces, 2) having some type of attachment on the sides so you could attach a shoulder strap would have been a good idea, the carry handle works but a shoulder strap would improve carrying for longer distances or free your hands to carry more items and 3) while not sold as water-proof, a rubber grommet in the lid groove would be nice.
Overall, it's a great case and suits the telescope (ETX-125) perfectly. If I were to have to make the choice on the same purchase again, I would do it again without hesitation. Lastly, Optics Planet had the best price and shipped the case super-fast, way quicker than I've experienced with other astronomy vendors.
