Solid StarterTelescope and portable
This telescope is solidly contrusted and is very portable. The instructions are very easy to understand and setting up the Autostar computer is just as easy. Once you are familar with which two stars to align with setup becomes very quick. I realy like the Guided Tours. I live in a mildly light ...

Disappointing
1. The Autostar is not difficult to set up or use. Just remember to calibrate the motor and train the drive. After you get it set up, it's fun to use.
2. In your alignment, don't use the included compass to find north, try to eyeball Polaris. If you live in an area where the magnetic variation is...

Reasonably easy to use.
Fairly easy set up, but you need a decent compass to actually do anything. Don't depend on the cheese-ball they sent with it. It is a useless, highly inaccurate piece of junk suitable for shooting marbles, maybe.

Etx-80
It's a cute little telescope with quality optics. The computerized hand controller is really helpful. Highly portable.
Great value for money. Recommended in it's price class.
Pros: Terrestrial & astronomical use , autostar controller
Cons: Focus knob requires 20 complete cycles to go from one end to the other.

Nice Traveling Observatory
This is a very nice scope. No doubt about it. It have 80mm achromatic doublets that show a whole of detail of planets and deep space. Compact enough to bring to travel around. HD tripod is much more stable that the travel tripod, but if you are always on the go, the TC will suite you better. If it comes with a 100mm optics, it sure hell hard to beat with such specification
Pros: Stable, Good Optics
Cons: Perhaps a 100mm model will draw more attention

Nice telescope for price
This telescope is very good for the price. It's very small and compact and yet packed a 80mm double achromatic objective. Viewing saturn and jupiter is very nice with much of the cloud band details showing. The built in barlow is not recommeded to be use, best if can get an extra barlow of higher quality as internal barlow increase chromatic aberation by a lot. The included tripod is quite stable for those who need stable observatory. Very nice telescope for the price
Pros: Compact, easy to use
Cons: Chromatic aberation

Feature packed mini telescope
This Telescope is the ultimate solution for compact & feature packed entry level telescope. Has a 80mm objective that can show quite an extensive details of messier object with ease. Viewing planets with high contrast, but there is present of chromatic aberation. Go To is quite accurate & has internal battery that can store time. Great deal for the price
Pros: Accurate Go-To, Compact
Cons: Noisy

Great Little Travel Scope
This scope is great. It has 80mm achromatic refractor which gather decent amount of light. Only problem is the tripod is vibrating a lot while focusing the telescope. Maybe because of the small travel tripod version. Hope this is not an issue with HD tripod. Overall a good scope
Pros: Good Optics
Cons: Tends to vibrate while focusing

Meade ETX-80 AT-TC-BB
I have had this scope for over two years and it has been so much fun to use. Very nice optics, super light and great accessories. Autostar is wonderful and the instructional videos make it a breeze to get familiar with its features. The wide field of view with the 26mm eyepiece makes "set-up" alignment very easy. Battery life is exceptional. The number of turns on the focusing knob takes a while to get used to when you use the internal flip Barlow. It comes with everything you need to get going though I've added Meade Series 4000 40mm and 6.4mm eyepieces, as well as moon filters. You are not limited to just the moon and planets with this little scope either and the "Tonight's Best" guided tour is a great feature. The scope packs up in the quality backpack beautifully and I have recommended this scope to educational organizations for their Astronomy programs. It also make a great spotting scope.
Pros: Compact, light, nice optics, super value, fun!
