Ds-2114 uses same ds-2000 single arm - Meade StarNavigator 130mm Reflector Telescope with AudioStar

no parts are available to fix must be sent in have repaired and repair cost was more then I payed for scope. I used the scope off and on for a week 1st year and then stored it in the box it came in for a few years and whin I tryed to use it again. It broke in the house as I was getting familiar with the alignment again. The Left Right moter started to move then made some clicking sounds since the warranty was long over and I am a electroinc repair tech I open it to see if I could fix it and found that the drive moter mount was made of thin plastic that had reacted to the factory lube on gears and had crumbled to pieces. Could not get any parts to repair from meade in fact the tech there wanted $28 just to talk to me in short if you want to use the scope for more then the 1 year warranty do not get this mount
Pros: works great for a year
Cons: plastic parts in drive motors brake the next year
